BrightSite is an independent platform co-built by the team at K Squared Consulting — a digital agency that spent years maintaining WordPress, Squarespace, and Webflow sites for clients. We got tired of the plugin tax, the slow dashboards, and the patchwork stacks. So we built the all-in-one platform we wanted to use.
Where BrightSite came from
BrightSite is its own company, but its origin is no accident. The platform was co-built by the team at K Squared Consulting, a Maine-based digital agency that builds and maintains marketing sites and growth systems for service businesses, construction firms, healthcare practices, and SaaS companies. After years inside the trenches of WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, and a long list of "all-in-one" platforms that weren't really all-in-one, the same wall kept showing up.
Every client site needed the same things: a fast page builder, a CMS that didn't fight us, real forms, real analytics, SEO that worked out of the box, and a way to update the site without breaking it. Every platform we used solved two of those problems and left the rest to plugins, third-party apps, and duct tape. The stack was taking more time than the work.
So we built BrightSite — a modern, AI-native website platform that ships with everything a real site needs in one place: pages, posts, components, forms, analytics, session replay, SEO tooling, and AI integration. No plugins. No version upgrades that break the site at midnight. No paying for five SaaS tools that should be one.
Today BrightSite operates as an independent platform. K Squared remains a launch partner and uses BrightSite for client work — but the product, the company, and the roadmap stand on their own. We're opening it up to the rest of the world.
