Local rankings

Map Pack rank,street by street.

Someone searching two blocks away sees different Google Maps results than someone across town. BrightSite checks your rank at every point on a grid around your business, so you can see where you show up and where you don't.

  1. 01

    Find your business.

Search Google Maps and pick your listing. Rankings are matched to that exact listing, never just the name.

  2. 02

    Pick the area.

Start from Neighborhood, City, or Region, or set the grid size and the distance between points yourself.

  3. 03

    See where you drop off.

Each point shows your rank. Pick a competitor to see their map instead, at no extra cost.

By hand or by asking

Read the map yourself, or ask where you're weak.

Use the map and tables, or ask Lumi, Claude, or ChatGPT about your local rankings in plain words.

Find your weak spots

Open the latest scan. Red and gray points show where you rank low or don't appear at all.

Ask where you rank worst. The agent reads the latest scan and names the areas.

Questions

About local rankings.

What does a grid scan show?

Your rank in Google Maps results at each point on a grid around your business, as if someone searched from that spot. It shows where you make the top 3 and where you fall off.

How often does it scan?

Weekly, every other week, or monthly, on the day and time you choose. The first scan starts as soon as you set up the campaign.

How big can the grid be?

Up to 7×7 on Launch, 9×9 on Grow, and 13×13 on Scale, with up to 10 miles between points. A local rankings add-on allows grids up to 15×15.

What is a rescan?

A scan of one keyword you run yourself, outside the schedule. Grow includes 10 a month and Scale 20. New keywords get their first scan without using one.

Can I see my competitors?

Yes. Each scan lists up to 20 businesses with their top 3 count, average rank, and rating. Pick one to see its map from the same scan.

What happens if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. Campaigns, keywords, or grids over the new limit are marked Over plan limit and stop scanning, and their past scans stay.

Can an agent manage it?

Yes. Lumi, Claude, and ChatGPT can set up campaigns, change keywords, run scans, and summarize results.
