Plans and billing

The three plans and what each one includes, monthly versus yearly billing, payment methods and invoices, and topping up your AI wallet.

Billing lives in Settings → Billing. It covers your plan, how you pay, and your invoice history. Billing belongs to the organization, so if you run several organizations each has its own plan and its own bill.

The Plan tab

The Plan tab shows what you are on now and what else is available. There are three plans, priced per site, per month:

  • Launch: $39
  • Grow: $79
  • Scale: $149

A toggle switches between monthly and yearly billing. Changing plan takes effect from the billing area, where you pick the plan you want and confirm. If you move up mid-cycle, your billing is adjusted for the change.

Monthly or yearly

Yearly billing costs less than paying month by month for the same plan. You get two months free: a year costs the same as ten months at the monthly rate.

Monthly makes sense while you are still deciding, or if your cash flow prefers smaller regular payments. Yearly makes sense once you know you are staying, which for most sites is after a couple of months.

The toggle updates the figures on screen so you can compare before committing.

What the plans change

Every plan includes free SSL, hosting, CDN, WAF, caching, responsive images, email notifications and Lumi AI. There are no contracts and you can cancel at any time. Beyond that, each plan builds on the one below it.

If you are choosing between them: Launch covers a straightforward site that needs to be online and findable. Grow adds the analytics depth, staging and AI search work that most growing sites reach for. Scale removes the volume limits and adds the automated auditing and testing that larger sites need.

Payment methods

Add, replace and remove payment cards here. If you have more than one, one is the default that charges are taken from.

The most common billing problem is an expired card, so check it when you get a new one from your bank. A failed payment turns into chasing emails and, eventually, an interruption you did not intend.

Keep the billing email on the account current too. That is where receipts and any payment warnings go.

Invoices

Every charge produces an invoice, and they are all listed here. Download them for your records or hand them to your accountant.

If you need specific details on an invoice, such as a company registration number, a tax number or a purchase order reference, set those in your billing details before the next invoice is generated rather than asking for one to be reissued.

The AI wallet

If AI features are enabled for your organization, there is also a wallet for AI usage. It works separately from your plan: your subscription pays for the platform, the wallet pays for AI work as you use it.

You add credit to the wallet, and AI usage draws it down. The balance is shown so you can see where you are.

Top-ups and auto-reload

Two ways to keep the wallet funded:

  • Top up manually. You add credit when you want to. Full control, but the wallet can run out mid-task.
  • Auto-reload. When the balance falls below a level you set, an amount you set is added automatically. Set it if you use AI regularly and do not want to think about it.

Auto-reload is worth setting deliberately rather than by default. Choose a threshold high enough that you are never interrupted and a top-up amount you are comfortable being charged without a prompt.

Who can change billing

Billing requires admin access. Members and viewers cannot see or change payment details or the plan. If you need an invoice or a plan change and the option is not there, ask an admin in your organization.

Canceling

You can stop your subscription from the billing area. Before you do, export your site so you have a copy of your content. See the Import and export page. Once a subscription ends, your site stops being served.
