There are two ways to use AI with your site. You can work with Lumi inside the app, or connect an AI tool you already use to your site from outside. Both are included in every plan at no extra cost.

Working with Lumi inside the app
Lumi is the assistant built into BrightSite. You describe what you want in plain language and it makes the change: writing copy, building a page, adjusting a design. It works on your site directly, so you can see the result and publish it like any other change. Lumi is included in every plan. There are no credits to buy and no API key to set up.

Connecting a tool you already use
You can connect a tool such as ChatGPT, Claude or Codex to your BrightSite account, and it can then read and change your site the same way you would in the admin.
BrightSite is listed in Claude's connector directory, so in Claude you find it, click Connect and sign in. ChatGPT is a few clicks in its own settings, and you also sign in through your browser rather than handling a key. Other tools use an API key instead. Keys belong to you, not to an organization: you create one under User Settings, on the Security tab, and that single key reaches every organization you are a member of. Anyone you share a key with gets the same reach, so treat it like a password.
Connecting a tool is free on BrightSite's side on every plan. The AI work itself runs on your own plan with whoever provides the tool.
