Discount codes
Open Discounts in the store menu and create a code. Choose a type:
- Percentage off.
- Amount off.
- Free shipping, which can be limited to certain zones or rates, or a maximum rate.
Optional limits:
- Only these products, or Or products in these collections.
- Minimum spend.
- Starts and Ends dates (in UTC).
- Total uses and Uses per customer.
Can be combined with other codes lets a shopper use the code with other codes. It's off by default. Untick Code is active to switch a code off without deleting it.
The Discounts page sorts codes into Live, Scheduled, Ended, and Off.
Shoppers enter codes on the cart page or in the cart drawer.
Gift cards
There are two ways to get a gift card to someone:
- Sell them: create a product with the Gift card type. The buyer gets a code by email.
- Issue one yourself: open Gift cards, click Issue Card, and set the Amount, the recipient, and an optional expiry date. Tick Email the card to the recipient to send it.
Open a gift card to see its balance and history. You can Set balance, Resend email, or Disable card.
Shoppers enter gift card codes on the cart page. One gift card can be used per order. If the card covers the whole order, the shopper places it without paying by card.
Using an agent
Create a code FALL20 for 20% off everything, ending October 31, limited to one use per customer.
